    Akron, OH – This morning, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Deshawn Stafford Jr., 20 yrs, Tyler Stafford, 19 yrs, and Donovon Jones, 21 yrs. The three are wanted by the Akron Police Department for the fatal beating of Ethan Liming, 17 yrs, outside the I Promise School in Akron on June 2, 2022.

    Jackson, MS – The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, with assistance from the Choctaw County Sheriff's Office, Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, and Ackerman, Mississippi, Police Department today arrested the man charged with the murder of his pregnant girlfriend and a responding Meridian police officer Thursday night.

  • U.S. Marshal Arrest 2nd South Street Shooting Suspect

    Philadelphia, PA – The U.S. Marshals Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force arrested June 6 a second suspect in the June 4 mass shooting incident on South Street in which three people were killed and 11 injured.

    Rashaan Vereen, 34, was taken into custody without incident around 7:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of Hemberger Street.

    Brooklyn, NY – This morning, members of the U.S. Marshals Service, New York-New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and the New York Police Department arrested Cierra Mack, 30. Mack was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

  • Northern District of Illinois Status of Deputy U.S. Marshal and K-9

    Chicago, IL – On Thursday, a Deputy U.S. Marshal and K-9 of the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force were shot during a fugitive operation. An ambulance from Chicago Fire Department was dispatched to the location, and the Deputy and K-9 received medical treatment for their injuries.

    Cleveland, OH – This afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Service, Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Jumel Lewis, 42. Lewis was wanted by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office in Georgia for aggravated murder.

    Concord, NH – The United States Marshals Service – New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force is happy to once again announce the arrest of fugitive, James Canney.

    James Marshall Canney, 60 years-of-age, was slated to be this week's "Fugitive of the Week" tomorrow. Mr. Canney was wanted on a two arrest warrants including a State of New Hampshire warrant for parole violations for an original narcotics conviction and a Rockingham County arrest warrant for failing to appear on charges of assault and operating a motor vehicle after being deemed a habitual offender.

    Philadelphia, PA – Members of the U.S. Marshal's Eastern District of Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force arrested Donte Edwards, 29, for robbery, carjacking, and kidnapping, at approximately 12:30 p.m. on May 26th in the 2900 block of Ruth Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Edwards was wanted for the alleged robbery and kidnapping of a FedEx driver which occurred February 10th, in the 4300 block of Tackawanna street. A warrant was issued for Edwards on May 24th, and the U.S.

    Austin, TX - The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisting with the fugitive investigation of an Austin woman wanted for a homicide that occurred May 11 in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue has learned through its investigation that the suspect may have fled to New York days after the killing.

    Philadelphia, PA – Members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Ajani Uhuru, 23, for murder, at approximately 2:30 p.m. on May 23rd in the 5400 block of Wissahickon Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Uhuru was wanted for murder in relation to a shooting which occurred May 19th, at the Penn Jersey Food Mart in Sunbury Pennsylvania. A homicide warrant was issued for Uhuru on May 20th, and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in the Middle District of Pennsylvania was delegated the fugitive investigation.

    Milwaukee, WI – The United States Marshal for the Eastern District of Wisconsin Anna Ruzinski joined by Racine Police Department Chief Maurice Robinson announce the arrest of Terry "Scooter Man" Jackson following an arrest operation conducted this morning in Chicago, Illinois by members of the United States Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force – Chicago Office. Upon making contact at a residence Jackson was observed in a window of the home armed with a firearm. Following a brief standoff and negotiations Jackson surrendered without incident.
