El Paso, TX – A Deputy United States Marshal (DUSM) was awarded a purple heart for injuries sustained in the line of duty during a ceremony yesterday at the Albert Armendariz, Sr. United States Courthouse.

Newark, NJ – U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force have arrested a fugitive in Lakewood, NJ, whom Israeli authorities seek to prosecute for attempted rape and indecent acts involving minor victims based on acts committed in Israel between 2020 and 2023.

Denver, CO – The U.S. Marshals Service Colorado Violent Offender Task Force (COVOTF) has completed a 10-day fugitive operation targeting violent offenders wanted by municipalities in Jefferson County. 

Memphis, TN – The Memphis Safe Task Force arrested a number of violent criminals over the weekend to include three wanted for various charges of murder and another two wanted for violent sex crimes. Overall, 87 criminal arrests were made and 15 illegally possessed firearms were seized.

Atlanta, GA – The United States Marshals Service, along with the DeKalb County Police Department and the DeKalb County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Unit, have captured Leonard Campbell, a violent fugitive with an extensive criminal history. Campbell was arrested on an outstanding warrant for conspiracy to produce and distribute both fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Marion, OH – Today, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Yhonayker Jose Torres-Ascanio, 21. Torres-Ascanio was wanted by the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office in Maryland for multiple violent offenses including armed robbery, assault, and a weapons offense.

Philadelphia, PA - Members of the U.S. Marshals Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Eastern Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force in Reading, arrested Kadrise Patience, 30, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Patience was wanted for failure to appear on murder charges after being released in 2024.

Charleston, WV - The U.S. Marshals Southern District of West Virginia CUFFED Task Force, in partnership with the West Virginia State Police (WVSP), have completed a nearly month-long operation targeting noncompliant sex offenders, individuals wanted for sex crimes, and violent fugitives in Kanawha County and Putnam County, as well as surrounding areas. 

Boston, MA – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Districts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island announce the apprehension of a man alleged to be involved in a triple shooting in Worcester, Massachusetts. 

Memphis, TN – A collateral lead from the Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF) led to the arrest Tuesday of a man wanted in Memphis for the 2016 murder of an 18-year-old man.

Terry Johnson, 36, was arrested in Peoria, Illinois, by the U.S. Marshals (USMS) Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF).

Memphis, TN – The Memphis Safe Task Force on Tuesday April 14 arrested three different suspects wanted for three different cases of either murder or attempted murder capping off a day that saw some of the most serious offenders taken off the streets since the operation began.

Portland, ME –– The United States Marshals Service (USMS) announces the arrest of Dathon D. Wright, 32, in North Berwick, Maine, for multiple felony child sexual assault offenses.

Washington, DC – The Making D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force on Monday completed its 250th operational period, reaching a cumulative total of 11,756 criminal arrests and 1,278 illegal firearms recovered since the operation began in early August 2025.

Del Rio, TX – The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force assisted Mexican authorities from Policia Civil Coahuila, Mexico, with the arrest of a San Antonio fugitive in Mexico who was wanted out of Bexar County for aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Memphis, TN – The Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF) on Thursday executed 51 criminal arrests and recovered seven illegal firearms.

Cleveland, OH – Late this morning, members of the U.S. Marshals led Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) arrested Regis Hill, 30.  Hill was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

Atlanta, GA – A three-week fugitive apprehension operation led by the United States Marshals Service (USMS) and Clayton County law enforcement agencies has resulted in 78 criminal arrests, the recovery of 46 illegal firearms, 57 pounds of illegal narcotics, and the seizure of $18,000 in U.S. currency.

New York, NY – The U.S. Marshals New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force (NY/NJRFTF), assisted by the U.S. Marshals in the Middle District of Pennsylvania, arrested a suspect Friday wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 7-month-old girl.  

Washington, DC - An Arizona man on the run for more than 32 years after he failed to appear for sentencing upon being convicted of 15 counts of child molestation at the Pima County Superior Court was arrested in Ukraine in June 2025 at the request of the United States and on April 2 was extradited to Arizona to face justice following a U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) manhunt.

Dallas, TX – The United States Marshals Service (USMS) - North Texas Fugitive Task Force (NTFTF) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Diego Rodriguez, a fugitive wanted for a homicide that occurred on March 27, 2026, in Kaufman, Texas.
