  • Escaped Fugitive Arrested After Nine Month Manhunt

    Description

    Toledo, OH – On Wednesday, August 10, U.S. Marshals Service captured a fugitive who had been on the run since late 2021. 

    Robert Johnson, Jr., 40, is back in USMS custody. In November 2021, Johnson was being transported to Rock County Jail in Janesville, Wisconsin after being apprehended in Laredo, Texas. He was escorted by a private transportation company hired by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections.

  • Murder Fugitive From Puerto Rico Apprehended by U.S Marshals in Memphis

    Memphis, TN – Tyreece Miller, U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Tennessee, announces the capture of Daunta Head, 53, in Memphis for Violations of Conspiracy to Murder in Puerto Rico.

    On May 5, 2022, a 43-year-old woman was murdered in the Puerto Rico town of Aguadilla. The victim’s body was dismembered. On June 6, a warrant was issued by the General Court of Justice for the District of Aguadilla charging Daunta Head for this crime. The U.S. Marshals Puerto Rico Violent Offender Task Force adopted the case for a fugitive investigation.

  • Reward up to $30K Offered for Information Leading to Arrest of DC Man Wanted for Murder

    Dayton, OH – The U.S. Marshal’s Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested Aquille Lowe. Lowe was wanted by the Madison City Police Department for charges including Homicide, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon. Lowe had been on the run since a State of Wisconsin, Circuit Court in Dane County issued an arrest warrant on July 29, 2022. During the morning hours of August 4th, 2022, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team located Lowe at an apartment complex in the 900 Block Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH.

  • Nashua Fugitive Arrested by U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Mass.

    Concord, NH – The United States Marshals Service – NH Joint Fugitive Task Force is very happy to announce that last week’s “Fugitive of the Week” was arrested this morning by the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Worcester, Mass.

    Melvin James Campbell, IV, 21 years-of-age, who was last known to reside in Nashua, NH was featured last Wednesday as the “Fugitive of the Week.” Mr. Campbell was being sought in connection with an armed burglary that occurred this past March in Nashua.

    Denver, CO – The U.S. Marshals Service Colorado Violent Offender Task Force (COVOTF), with the assistance of both the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSDP) and Dept. of Homeland Security’s Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE), located and arrested a Texas homicide suspect Tuesday in Monument, Colorado.

    Spokane, WA – The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force today arrested a man wanted by the Spokane Police Department on felony warrants charging him with two counts of alleged child molestation in the first degree.     

    William Bruce Rennie, 67, is alleged to have fled the Spokane area to avoid arrest after the charges were filed.

  • Memphis Murder Suspect Wanted for Deadly Shooting on Beale Street Apprehended by U.S. Marshals in Miami

    Memphis, TN – Tyreece Miller, U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Tennessee, announces the capture of Shizmar Shabazz Randle, 28, who was wanted out of Shelby County for Second Degree Murder and Reckless Endangerment with a Deadly Weapon for a deadly shooting on Beale Street.

    In the early morning hours of April 28, 2022, a male victim was shot in the 100 block of Beale Street in Memphis resulting in the victim’s death several days later. The Memphis Police Department developed Shizmar Shabazz Randle as a suspect in the investigation.

    Concord, NH – The US Marshals Service, along with the Belknap County Sheriff's Office is happy to announce the arrest of Belknap County escaped prisoner, Peter John Dibiaso.

    Mr. Dibiaso had fled the Belknap County Jail Monday night after breaking through an unalarmed door and scaling a 10-foot fence to freedom. Dibiaso was being held at the Belknap County Jail in a pre-trial status on charges of being an armed career criminal, criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, stalking and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

  • U.S. Marshals and Toledo Police Combat Gang and Gun Violence with Operation Triple Beam

    Toledo, OH – The United States Marshals Service and the Toledo Police Department have worked diligently over the last two months to help curb gun violence and disrupt gang activity in the city of Toledo. Operation Triple Beam, which concluded last week, was a collaborative law enforcement operation designed to focus on areas of high gun violence and disrupt gang activity. Officers focused on taking violent fugitives and gang members off the streets with an emphasis on violent crime, habitual offenders, and gun and drug seizures.
