The U.S. Marshals serves as the enforcement arm of the federal courts and is involved in virtually every federal law enforcement initiative.

  • U.S. Marshals Capture Suspect in 2017 Homicide

    Description

    Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announced today the capture of Donald Wayne Duckworth. Duckworth had been indicted by a Madison County Grand Jury on two counts of Second-Degree Murder. According to investigators, Duckworth is allegedly involved in a 2017 homicide where a 19-year-old woman's body was found lying near a driveway in East Madison County.

    On October 3rd, 2020, a two-car accident that caused a fatality occurred at the intersection of Highway 64 and Brunswick. One day later, Betty Ferrell died from her injuries from this wreck.

    Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller today announced the arrest of William Blake Michael who was wanted in Limestone County, Alabama for assaulting a Law Enforcement Officer. The assault charges stemmed from a November 2019 incident in which Limestone County, Alabama Sheriff's Deputies attempted to arrest Michael on an outstanding Probation Violation warrant.

    Concord, NH – "Fugitive of the Week," Philip Rory Gingras, 46 years-of-age, surrendered late this afternoon at the Merrimack County Sheriff's Office in Boscawen, NH. Mr. Gingras was being sought on supervised release violations stemming from a conviction on a federal sex offender registration violation which is a violation of the Adam Walsh Act.

    Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces arrest of Jalen Highsmith for Capital Murder.

    On November 7, 2020 Mario Robinson was shot to death outside a Waffle House in Austin, Texas. A warrant for Capital Murder was issued in Austin, Texas for the arrest of Jalen Highsmith for this crime.

  • Task Force Captures Escaped Gibson County Inmate

    Jackson, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announced today the capture of Joshua David Hughes who was wanted by the Gibson County Sheriff's Office for escape. Hughes, who was an inmate of the Gibson County Criminal Justice Complex, escaped while on a work detail earlier this week.

  • U.S. Marshals Arrest Middletown Murder Suspect in Tampa, FL

    Tampa, FL – During the late-morning hours of November 6, 2020, the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and the Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested fugitive Marquan Cook on an outstanding warrant from Butler County for Murder.

    Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces the capture of Delondre Roberson for a murder warrant.

    On October 21 a male victim was shot to death in Dallas, Texas. On October 23 a murder warrant was issued for Delondre Roberson for this crime. (Note that there is not a first or second degree distinction on the warrant.)

  • U.S. Marshals Arrest two Chester City Homicide Fugitives

    Philadelphia, PA – Members of the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force arrested Jaahir Johns, 20, and Zaheem Allen, 18, for murder in the early morning hours of November 5th. Johns was taken into custody in the 1200 block of west 9th street while Allen was arrested in the 1300 block of Tilghman Street. Both men were arrested without incident.

  • U.S. Marshals Seize Firearms and Counterfeit Credit Cards

    Miami, FL – During the early morning hours of Oct. 29, the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Task Force arrested in Miramar a fugitive wanted on an outstanding federal warrant, which resulted in discovery of automatic firearms and counterfeit credit cards.

  • Marshals Task Force Captures Southhaven, MS Double Murder Suspect

    Memphis, TN – U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller announces arrest of alleged double murder suspect Jeffrey Walker, of Memphis.

    On Halloween night, there was a shooting at a residential party at the 200 block of Vault Circle in Southaven, MS. Two people were killed and a third was wounded. Desoto County issued an arrest warrant for Jeffrey Walker for these crimes.
