
The Honorable Priscilla Perez Lopez was sworn in as the United States Marshal for the Southern District of Florida on June 3, 2026, following her confirmation by the United States Senate.
United States Marshal Perez Lopez oversees all United States Marshals Service (USMS) operations in the Southern District of Florida, including federal judicial security, court security, fugitive investigations and apprehension, sex offender and missing child investigations, prisoner operations, asset forfeiture, and service of process.
Mrs. Perez Lopez began her career with the USMS as a Deputy United States Marshal in February 2002, and most recently served as the Attorney General-designated Acting United States Marshal for the Southern District of Florida. Prior to her designation, Mrs. Perez Lopez served as the District's Assistant Chief Deputy United States Marshal.
Mrs. Perez Lopez holds a Master’s of Science Criminal Justice Degree from Florida International University.
