Fort Smith, AR – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is seeking the public’s help and offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of an Arkansas woman wanted for first-degree murder and aggravated robbery.

Western District of Arkansas fugitive - Jasmine Asanti Johnston

Jasmine Asanti Johnston, 20, is wanted in connection to the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy July 7 in the 5300 block of Elm Street in Fort Smith.

Johnston is a black woman, stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair and a tattoo over her left eye and on her left wrist.

If anyone comes into contact with Johnston, do not approach her. She is considered armed and extremely dangerous. 

Anyone with information regarding Johnston’s whereabouts is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals at 1-877-WANTED-2 or send tip information via the USMS Tips App.

The Western Arkansas Fugitive Task Force is composed of law enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals Service, Arkansas State Police, Arkansas Community Corrections-SRT, Benton County Sheriff's Office, Bentonville Police Department, Greenwood Police Department, Springdale Police Department, Union County Sheriff's Office, Columbia County Sheriff's Office, and Ashley County Sheriff's Office.
