U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Detain Person of Interest in Pflugerville Triple Homicide

Austin, TX – Members of the U.S. Marshals-led Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, in coordination with the Travis County Sheriffs Office (TCSO), located and detained a person of interest in a triple homicide that was discovered in Pflugerville, Texas by the Travis County Sheriff's Office on May 7.  

On May 7, the Travis County Sheriff’s Office requested immediate assistance from the Austin-based fugitive task force to locate a person of interest that was identified during the investigation. The request followed a welfare check conducted on Civorno Drive in Pflugerville, where authorities arrived on scene and discovered three deceased adults with gunshot wounds.

Members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, Austin Division, located a vehicle that was known to be operated by the person of interest, where it was parked and unoccupied in the 1000 block of Norwood Park Blvd. 

Task force personnel continued to search the surrounding area and subsequently located the individual nearby. 

The person of interest was approached, surrounded, and detained by members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, the Austin Police Department SWAT team, and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office without incident. 

According to the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, this is an isolated incident, and the investigation remains active.
