Middle District of Pennsylvania
Harrisburg, PA

Harrisburg, PA – Today, United States Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Anthony Eugene Faison - a 21-year old York man.

On June 12, 2020, the York City Police Department investigated the non-fatal shooting of a man in the 400 block of Park Street. As a result of that investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging Faison with Criminal Attempt Homicide and lesser included offenses. Attempts to find him were unsuccessful and the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force was asked to apprehend him.

Today at about 7 a.m., members of the task force arrested Faison without incident in the 600 block of Country Club Road, Red Lion. He was turned over to the York County Sheriff's Office Central Booking Unit for arraignment.

United States Marshal Pane stated, "It's the Marshals Services' duty to ensure that those charged with violent crimes have their day in court. It is my sincere hope that the community will find some measure of comfort knowing this suspect will face justice.".

The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in the Middle District of Pennsylvania is comprised of 20 state, county and local police agencies, including: the York City Police Department; the Pennsylvania State Police; the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole; the York County Sheriff's Office; the York County District Attorney's Office; the Northern York County Regional Police Department; and, the Spring Garden Township Police Department - all of whom participated in this fugitive investigation.
