U.S. Marshals Capture West Tennessee Man Wanted for Violent Attack on Woman with a Bat and Other Crimes in Tennessee and Kentucky

Jackson, TN - The U.S. Marshals (USMS) Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force captured a West Tennessee man wanted for a violent attack on a woman with a bat and other crimes in Tennessee and Kentucky.

Xavien Eisom, 32, of Union City, Tennessee, was arrested by U.S. Marshals this morning at the Casey Jones Motel in Jackson.

Based on the investigation by the Union City Police Department, on September 1, 2026, a woman had just left an apartment in the 600 block of Nash Street in Union City and was walking to her vehicle. Eisom laid in wait and severely beat the woman with a bat before fleeing authorities.

Arrest warrants were issued in Obion County General Sessions Court for aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and evading arrest.

The case was adopted by the USMS for a fugitive investigation.

Eisom also had an outstanding warrant out of Fulton, Kentucky, for auto theft for an August 28, 2026, incident where he is alleged to have stolen a 2019 Lincoln Nautilus from the driveway of a residence.

Eisom was also wanted on a violation of parole warrant issued in 2025 following an aggravated burglary conviction in Tennessee.

Tyreece Miller, U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Tennessee said, “Xavien Eisom’s crime spree came to an end today. We are glad to assist our law enforcement partners in Tennessee and Kentucky to hold him accountable.”

Eisom was transported to the Madison County Jail pending transfer to the Obion County Jail.
