Washington, DC – The U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) on Wednesday arrested in Elkhart, Indiana, a woman charged in St. Joseph County, Indiana, with aggravated battery by means of a deadly weapon, and a man wanted in Elkhart for dealing meth.

Elizabeth Marie Wright, 31, and Lonnie Dean Tolliver, 52, were arrested at Tolliver’s residence in Elkhart.

GLRFTF investigators developed information that Wright was staying with an unidentified man in Elkhart, and the investigators subsequently established surveillance at the residence. The unidentified man was soon identified then confirmed to be Tolliver. When another person left the residence a short time later, investigators interviewed that individual who told them that Wright was also inside.

Task force members then approached the residence, made contact and took Wright and Tolliver safely into custody.

Formed June 20, 2003, the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force mission is to locate and apprehend fugitives, with priority given to fugitives wanted for violent crime.
