Two Homicide Suspects Arrested in One Day

Memphis, TN - The Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF) arrested two individuals with warrants for first degree murder on June 4.
Tyquan Quinn, 27, was arrested for a murder that occurred March 31, 2026, where the victim died from multiple gunshot wounds.
Kobe Morton, 21, was arrested without incident for a murder that occurred Feb. 16, 2026.
The Memphis Safe Task Force, a multi-agency initiative, was organized in September 2025 to combat violent crime in Memphis. It is composed of federal, state and local law enforcement, as well as the Tennessee National Guard, and focuses on arresting violent criminals, clearing warrants, seizing firearms, and locating missing children.
The Memphis Safe Task Force has thus far arrested 9,857 violent fugitives, including 87 for homicide, 1,092 for narcotics, 940 for weapons offenses, 105 for sex offenses and 1,046 known gang members. The task force has also seized more than 1,682 illegal firearms. Since the operation began, the MSTF has located 153 missing children.
