Task Force Arrests Fugitive Wanted for Murder

Dayton, OH – The U.S. Marshal's Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) arrested Aquille Lowe. Lowe was wanted by the Madison City Police Department for charges including Homicide, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Possession of a Weapon. Lowe had been on the run since a State of Wisconsin, Circuit Court in Dane County issued an arrest warrant on July 29, 2022. During the morning hours of August 4th, 2022, the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team located Lowe at an apartment complex in the 900 Block Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH. It was there that Lowe was taken into custody without incident. Lowe now awaits his court appearance for the above charges and is currently housed at the Montgomery County Jail.

U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team is a multi-jurisdictional task force comprised of the Dayton Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Shelby County Sheriff's Office, Springfield Police Department, Franklin Police Department Greene County Prosecutor's Office, Miami County Sheriff's Office, Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office, Ohio Adult Parole Authority, Perry Township Police Department, Springboro Police Department, United States Secret Service, Warren County Sheriff's Office, West Carrollton Police Department, and the Xenia Police Department. The U.S. Marshals Service is the nation's primary fugitive hunting organization and captures more federal fugitives each year than all other law enforcement agencies combined.
