Memphis, TN – The Memphis Safe Task Force executing a search warrant Tuesday at a residence in the 1900 block of Belmar Street arrested four people on multiple counts of possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Arrested were Jordan McDaniel, 21; Doryun Moore, 24; Mikavious Owens, 19; and Terrell Holmes, 18.

McDaniel, Moore and Holmes were apprehended in the residence. Owens was apprehended in the rear of the residence as he attempted to flee.

During the search MSTF members found and seized seven firearms, six 16-ounce bottles of promethazine, 30 ecstasy pills, 50 pounds of marijuana, and $2,025 in cash. A 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee was also seized.

Since the launch of the Memphis Safe Task Force initiative, officers have made 9,120 arrests, including 67 for homicide, 1,006 for controlled substances, 853 for firearms violations, and 105 for sex offenses. Of those arrested, 260 were juveniles and 960 were known gang members. The task force has seized 1,525 illegal firearms. These enforcement actions reflect a sustained commitment to reducing violent crime and removing dangerous weapons from Memphis neighborhoods.

The Memphis Safe Task Force (MSTF), a multi-agency initiative, was organized in September 2025 to combat violent crime in Memphis. It is composed of federal, state, and local law enforcement, as well as the Tennessee National Guard, and focuses on arresting violent criminals, clearing warrants, seizing firearms, and locating missing children. Since the operation began, the MSTF has located 150 missing children.

This operation reflects the MSTF’s commitment to coordinated enforcement efforts and its mission to identify, apprehend, and hold accountable those who pose a threat to public safety.
