Fugitive Wanted on Multiple Counts of Attempted Murder Apprehended by U.S. Marshal

Martinsburg, WV – On June 25, 2021, members of the U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force arrested Quantrill Lowery, 21, of Martinsburg, WV. Lowery was wanted by the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office on numerous charges including two counts of attempted murder. These charges stemmed from a shooting that occurred on January 29, 2021, in the 5400 block of Williamsport Pike, Martinsburg, WV.

The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force developed information that Lowery was staying at a residence in the 600 block of Panorama Drive in Martinsburg, WV. On June 25, 2021, the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team executed a search warrant, on behalf of the task force, which resulted in Lowery's apprehension.

"We greatly appreciate the assistance of the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office. We are very fortunate in that our state and local SWAT teams are always willing to assist in the apprehension of our most dangerous fugitives. These teams are highly skilled and have proven to be a valuable resource, " said Acting U.S. Marshal Terry Moore.

The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force consists of members from the West Virginia State Police, Martinsburg Police Department, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, Charles Town Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, West Virginia Department of Corrections, and Shepherdstown Police Department.

Lowery is currently being held at the Eastern Regional Jail.
