Memphis, TN – The Memphis Safe Task Force announces the arrest of Tra-Shawn Robinson, 26, on warrants for aggravated assault, domestic assault with bodily harm, aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, and vandalism.

On October 24, 2025, felony warrants were issued for Robinson’s arrest out of Shelby County, Tennessee. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Memphis Safe Task Force in locating and apprehending Robinson.

Task Force Investigators developed information that Robinson had fled the Memphis area and traveled to Grenada, Mississippi. From there, members requested support from the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force of Northern Mississippi.

On November 19, 2025, U.S. Marshals with the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force tracked Robinson to a residence in the 174th block of West Monroe Street in Grenada. With the assistance of multiple local, state agencies, authorities surrounded the residence and ordered Robinson to surrender. Robinson barricaded himself inside and refused to comply.

After several hours, Task Force members entered the residence and located Robinson lying in a bathtub armed with a machete‑style knife, suffering from what appeared to be numerous lacerations to his arms. Robinson was taken into custody and transported by ambulance to a local hospital for medical treatment.
