$10K Reward Offered for Arrest of Major Case Fugitive

Omaha, NE – The U.S. Marshals Metro Fugitive Task Force in Omaha is offering up to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a man wanted for crimes committed in January in Kearney and Omaha.

Romeo Dupree ChambersRomeo Chambers, 25, is wanted out of Kearney for a homicide and for robbery out of Omaha. Investigators have worked leads on this case in Omaha, as well as in Des Moines, Iowa, Kansas City, Missouri.

Chambers has no known address. He is described as a black male, standing 6 feet 2 inches, weighing 165 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He also has distinctive "B" (Boston Red Sox logo) tattoo on his forehead. Chambers may go by the name "Rowdy."

Chambers should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

The Metro Fugitive Task Force is made up of law enforcement officers from the U.S. Marshals, Omaha Police Department, Lincoln Police Department, Nebraska State Patrol, Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Lancaster County Sherriff's Office, Saunders County Sheriff's Office, Sarpy County Sheriff's Office, Saline County Sheriff's Office, Gage County Sheriff's Office, Washington County Sheriff's office and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
