Coeur d’Alene, ID – On Friday evening, the U.S. Marshals Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force teamed up with the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force and the Spokane Valley Police Department in Spokane, Washington to arrest a violent fugitive accused of multiple sex crimes against minors.

Kenneth Bernard Kimbley, III, 37, was arrested on two outstanding felony warrants out of the State of Idaho. In August of 2019, the Bonner County District Court in Sandpoint issued a warrant for Kimbley for Contempt of Court stemming from charges of Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Minor Under the Age of 16. Also, in June of 2020, the Kootenai County District Court in Coeur d’Alene issued a warrant for Kimbley for Lewd Conduct with a Minor with a Deadly Weapon. Kimbley was in his late twenties at the time of the alleged sex crimes against the minors ranging between the ages of 6-years-old and 11-years-old.

The Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force located Kimbley at the Clock Tower Village Apartments in Spokane Valley, Washington. Kimbley fled from his town of Athol, Idaho and assumed a new alias while living in Washington with his girlfriend.

Kimbley’s girlfriend, Arin Johnson, 40, was charged with Rendering Criminal Assistance in the 2nd Degree.

The task force is committed to tracking down dangerous fugitives in North Idaho wanted for felony crimes, especially where they involve innocent children.
