U.S. Marshals Task Force Captures Three Fugitives, Including a Murder Suspect

Memphis, TN – The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, along with Shelby County Sheriff's Fugitive Apprehension Team, had a productive morning.

First, Stephen Bufford was arrested without incident at an apartment at the 2200 block of Howell. Bufford had warrants for Attempted First Degree Murder, Weapons Possession, Aggravated Assault, Violation of an Order of Protection, and Domestic Assault.

Second, Larry Milan was arrested at a residence at the 840 block of Hale. Milan had a warrant for his arrest for First Degree Murder, Especially Aggravated Robbery, and Setting Fire to Personal Property/Land issued July 17, 2019. The murder is for Sean Turner who went missing on November 14, 2017. The remains of Sean Turner were found January 17, 2019 near Fields and Cook road in South Memphis. Milan was taken into custody without incident.

Lastly, Rodney Crawford was arrested without incident in an apartment at the 1400 block of Baggett. Crawford had warrants for Rape and Sexual Battery by an Authority Figure.

The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force with divisions in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The Western Tennessee Division of the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff's Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Madison County Sheriff's Deputies, Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, ATF, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators
