U.S. Marshals Arrest West Virginia and Maryland Fugitive Ronald Wilson

Martinsburg, WV – Today the U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force arrested Ronald "Ronnie" Wilson, 44, of Williamsport Maryland.

Wilson was wanted for a parole violation out of Maryland that was the result of a drug conviction. Wilson also had outstanding warrants in WV for domestic battery and strangulation along with burglary and assault charges in Maryland.

The Marshals taskforce was asked to assist Maryland authorities in locating and arresting Wilson. On May 06, 2020 members of the Marshals taskforce along with the Washington County Maryland's warrant squad began looking for Wilson who was known to frequent the West Virginia area.

Members of the taskforce developed information Wilson was possibly in the Inwood West Virginia area.

Officers located the vehicle Wilson was operating and arrested Wilson without incident in the parking lot of the Dollar General in the 1600 block of Winchester Avenue in Martinsburg West Virginia.

Wilson was processed on his local charges and remanded to the Eastern Regional Jail. Once Wilson's charges are satisfied in West Virginia, Wilson will be extradited to Maryland to answer to his new charges and parole violation.
