U.S. Marshals and Norfolk Police Arrest Gotti Gang Member Tinkman

Norfolk, VA – A joint effort between the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Norfolk Police Department Special Operations Team resulted in the arrest of a gang member wanted by multiple jurisdictions. Akail Allen, 20, was taken into custody without incident in Norfolk this morning.

Allen, better known by his aliases of "Tinkman," "Tink," or "Slick," had been wanted by the Norfolk and Newport News Police Departments for numerous firearms offenses.

This morning, U.S. Marshals and members of the Norfolk Special Operations Team arrested Allen at a residence in the 2700 block of Stanhope Avenue, Norfolk. Allen will be held at the Norfolk City Jail.

Allen was arrested on the following outstanding felony arrest warrants:

Norfolk Police Department – Issued April 13

  • Malicious Wounding
  • Use of Firearm in Commission of a Felony
  • Possession of Firearm by Violent Convicted Felon

Newport News Police Department – Issued April 21

  • Robbery
  • Abduction
  • Use of Firearm in the Commission of a Felony
  • Conspiracy to Commit a Felony
