U.S. Marshals in Puerto Rico Arrest Wisconsin Couple Wanted for Murder

San Juan, PR – The U.S. Marshals Puerto Rico Violent Offenders Task Force (PRVOTF) arrested a couple wanted for first degree murder in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Alex Delgado Cintron, 22, and Maria Christina Patino, 37, were wanted in relation to the December 5th deadly shooting of one man and another one injured in Kenosha, WI.

According to investigators in Kenosha, WI, both suspects fled to Puerto Rico after the incident. The Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force (GLRFTF) requested the assistance of the PRVOTF in San Juan to locate and apprehend both fugitives. Information was developed by GLRFTF and PRVOTF indicating both fugitives were staying with Delgado’s relatives in the town of Cayey.

On December 30, 2019, U.S. Marshals PRVOTF with the assistance of the Puerto Rico Police and detectives from the Kenosha Police Department were able to locate and apprehend both fugitives without incident. Delgado Cintron and Patino were released to the custody of the Puerto Rico Police Extradition Unit.

U.S. Marshals PRVOTF is a multi-jurisdictional task force comprised of Deputy US Marshals, Puerto Rico Police Department, San Juan Municipal Police, Puerto Rico Department of Corrections, Puerto Rico State Marshals and Puerto Rico Internal Revenue.
