Two Murder Suspects Arrested in Unrelated Crimes

Memphis, TN – It was a successful day for the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force as they brought in two fugitives from justice who were wanted for murder.

On July 20, Donald Bunch was shot to death at the 1600 block of Get-well in Memphis, Tennessee. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Willie Patterson for Second Degree Murder for this crime.

Aaron Forbes was shot to death on August 16 in Norfolk, Virginia. A warrant for the arrest of John A. Little was issued by the Norfolk Police Department for Second Degree Murder.

Earlier today the Gulf Coast Task Force and the Shelby County Sheriff's Fugitive Apprehension Team tracked John Little to a residence at the 5300 block of Beaverton Drive in Memphis. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Shelby County Detention Center.

This evening the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, working closely with Investigators with the Gulf Coast Task Force, located Willie Patterson in Columbus, Georgia. He was taken into custody without incident and awaits extradition back to Memphis.

"No matter how far they travel, the U.S. Marshals will not rest until violent fugitives are brought to justice," said U.S. Marshal Tyreece Miller.

The Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF) has offices in Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama. The West Tennessee office consists of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Investigators with the Jackson Police Department, Agents with the Tennessee Department of Correction, Investigators with the Memphis Police Department, the Shelby County Sheriff's Office and the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
