Minneapolis, MN – Eric Reinbold, 44, the primary suspect in the July 9 death of his wife in Oklee, Minnesota, was being sought by the U.S. Marshals Service, Pennington County and Red Lake County Sheriff's Offices and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. Birmingham, AL – Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama named C. Martin Keely, U.S. Marshal for the Northern District of Alabama, as winner of its 2020 Crime Stopper of the Year Award at a ceremony in Birmingham Wednesday. The award is annually given for dedication to fighting crime and for support and commitment to Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama.
Portland, ME – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), announces the arrest of Jasper Orne, 37, of Bowdoinham, Maine. Orne was wanted on a warrant for possession of child pornography based on a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court.
Seattle, WA – Earlier today, the Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force (PNVOTF), led by the U.S. Marshals Service, arrested Guillermo Raya-Leon (age 26) for First Degree Murder in Salem, Oregon. Raya-Leon is alleged to have shot and killed a Clark County Sheriff's Office Deputy on Friday in Vancouver, Washington.
Norfolk, VA – A large-scale multi-agency law enforcement operation led by the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force, focused on wanted gang members and firearms related offenders, has concluded. The 60-day operation, which took place during June and July resulted in dozens of arrests and firearms seized across Hampton Roads.
Washington – Today marks the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act (AWA). The law is named for 6-year-old Adam Walsh, who was abducted from a Florida mall on this same date in 1981 by a serial killer. Adam's abduction and murder served as a catalyst for change in the way the nation deals with crimes against children.

Kansas City, MO – United States Marshal Mark S. James and Nodaway County Sheriff Randy Strong announced today a new partnership between the United States Marshals Service and the Nodaway County Sheriff's Office.
Charlotte, NC – The U.S. Marshals Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force (CRFTF), in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals led Arizona WANTED Violent Offenders Task Force, today arrested in Phoenix two fugitives wanted in connection with the murder of a North Carolina woman in January.
Seattle, WA – Earlier today, the U.S. Marshals led, Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force, arrested Marcel Long, 19, for 1st degree murder.
