U.S. Marshals Service Nevada Violent Offender Task Force Arrest Violent Gang Member and Recover Firearm

Las Vegas, NV – On July 16, 2026, the U.S. Marshals Service Nevada Violent Offender Task Force arrested a suspect wanted by the Superior Court of California, County of San Bernardino, for Parole Violation, with an underlying charge of Possession of a Firearm.
Dylan Collins, 23, a confirmed gang member from the IE Projects criminal street gang in California, allegedly violated his conditions of parole and fled the San Bernardino, California area.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Southwest Fugitive Task Force. Through the course of the investigation, information was developed, indicating that Collins was in the Las Vegas area, and the Nevada Violent Offender Task Force was asked to assist with his apprehension.
At approximately 04:45 PM, Collins was located and apprehended by the Nevada Violent Offender Task Force in the 4500 block of W Charleston Blvd S. Collins was in possession of a handgun, an extended magazine, and drugs at the time of his arrest. Collins was subsequently transported to the Clark County Detention Center where he is pending local charges and extradition.

The U.S. Marshals Service collaborates with multiple Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agencies. U.S. Marshal Gary Schofield said, “This arrest took both a firearm and a serious threat out of the community. Strong partnerships make arrests like this possible.”
