14-Year-Old Wanted for Homicide Arrested by U.S. Marshals

For immediate release

Cleveland, OH – This morning, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) located and arrested a 14-year-old male that was wanted by the Cleveland Division of Police for aggravated murder.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, on November 19, 2022, an argument broke out between the 14-year-old male suspect and Lawrence McKissic, 18, at a drive thru convenience store located near the 10300 block of St. Clair Ave., Cleveland. The 14-year-old-male is alleged to have shot McKissic in the head, and then proceed to steal McKissic’s firearm and flee the scene. 

This morning, members of the Cleveland NOVFTF arrested the 14-year-old male in an apartment near the 400 block of Richmond Park Drive, Richmond Heights, Ohio.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “Outstanding investigative work by the Cleveland Division of Police lead to the quick identification of this homicide suspect. The arrest of this suspect comes just weeks after the initial incident. “
