U.S. Marshals Arrest Firearms Thief on Federal Arrest Warrant

Concord, NH – The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) District of New Hampshire apprehended a fugitive this morning on Incline Avenue in Goffstown. The fugitive was wanted for violating supervised release conditions stemming from a prior conviction of theft of a firearm from a federal firearms licensee.

In 2020, Ryan Woods, 37, stole a firearm from Shooters Outpost in Hooksett, and he was convicted in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire. As part of his sentencing, Woods was placed on federal supervision. While on supervision, Woods accrued multiple violations of release conditions, and a federal arrest warrant was issued on July 27, 2026.

The U.S. Marshals worked with investigators from the Manchester, Nashua, and Goffstown Police Departments to develop information that would indicate Woods’ whereabouts.

That information led the investigators to the Incline Avenue address.  Aided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, S.W.A.T. personnel from Manchester and Nashua, the U.S. Marshals and Goffstown Police were able to safely apprehend Woods without incident. Following his arrest, Woods was transported to the U.S. District Court in Concord.

The USMS New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force was formed in the fall of 2002 and is headquartered in Concord. The task force coordinates federal, state, county, and local resources to develop leads, gather intelligence, track and apprehend targeted fugitives. The Task Force receives vital support from Strafford, Merrimack and Rockingham Counties, as well as the cities of Manchester, Nashua and Concord.
