U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force & Atlantic County Sheriff’s Capture Four of Atlantic County’s Most Wanted Fugitives in Five Days

Atlantic City, NJ – Members of the U.S. Marshals Service-led New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office, along with state and local law enforcement partners, recently located and arrested four of Atlantic County’s most wanted fugitives on serious charges.

These arrests were the result of coordinated fugitive investigations conducted throughout Atlantic County and surrounding communities with the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office.

On Aug. 28, task force members located and arrested Brian Nixon in Pleasantville for failure to appear in connection with charges stemming from an alleged stalking, home invasion, and burglary.

Also on Aug. 28, investigators located and arrested Oratile Moeng in Egg Harbor City. Moeng was wanted for failure to appear in connection with possession of child pornography.

On Aug. 31, members of the NY/NJ RFTF located and arrested Dominick Haynes in Atlantic City.  Haynes was wanted for failure to appear in connection with charges involving sexual assault, sexual conduct with a minor, and unlawful possession of a weapon.  

On Sept. 1, task force members located and arrested Danna Jeffrey-Pope in Atlantic City. Jeffery-Pope was wanted for failure to appear in connection with a conspiracy robbery charge.

These four arrests underscore the continued partnership between the U.S. Marshals Service, the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office, and our task force partners in locating and apprehending these individuals wanted for serious offenses.

“The successful apprehension of these fugitives highlights the strength of our partnership with the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office,” said Nicholas Ricigliano, Acting U.S. Marshal for the District of New Jersey. “Their investigators bring invaluable local knowledge, experience and commitment to our task force. By combining our resources, we were able to aggressively pursue these individuals to ensure they were brought before the court to answer the charges against them.”
