Berks County Murder Fugitive Captured in West Palm Beach, Florida

For immediate release

Philadelphia, PA - Members of the U.S. Marshals Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Eastern Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force in Reading, arrested Kadrise Patience, 30, in West Palm Beach, Florida. Patience was wanted for failure to appear on murder charges after being released in 2024. The homicide occurred on June 17th, 2021, on North 10th Street in Reading, PA. The warrant was delegated to the Marshals Task Force in November of 2025.

During the course of the investigation, information was developed that Patience was hiding with a family member in Florida. At approximately 2:00 p.m., investigators from the Marshals Florida/Caribbean Regional Task Force observed Patience at an apartment complex in the 200 block of Golden River Drive in West Palm Beach. Patience was then approached by investigators and provided a false identification. He was then positively identified, arrested without incident, and transported to the Palm Beach County jail for processing.

“No matter where a fugitive attempts to flee, our focus remains on ensuring they are brought into custody. This arrest is the result of persistent investigative work and interagency cooperation,” said Robert Clark, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.

The Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force is a team of law enforcement officers led by U.S. Marshals in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. The task force’s objective is to seek out and arrest violent crime fugitives. Membership agencies include the Philadelphia Police Department, Pennsylvania State Parole Officers, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Attorney General Agents, Immigration Customs Enforcement, Chester Police Department, Bucks County Sheriffs, and Delaware County Sheriffs.
