Corpus Christi, TX – On Dec. 12, the United States Marshals Service (USMS) in the Northern District of Texas, working with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Grand Prairie Police Department, arrested Cesar Molina-Lopez, a criminal alien fugitive and confirmed member of Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Molina-Lopez was wanted for multiple crimes in the United States and is the subject of an active INTERPOL Red Notice for charges in El Salvador, including his involvement with MS-13, a dangerous transnational criminal gang linked to countless murders, kidnappings, drug smuggling, and other violent crimes across Central America and the United States.
Molina-Lopez was wanted on a federal warrant for violating the conditions of supervised release and was under court ordered supervision for illegal re-entry into the United States. He was also wanted by the Loudoun County (Virginia) Sheriff’s Office for failing to appear on charges of interference with an emergency telephone call and causing intentional damage. Additionally, INTERPOL Washington supported the investigation by conveying that Molina-Lopez is the subject of an active INTERPOL Red Notice and wanted on criminal charges in El Salvador for engaging in crimes against persons while being a member of a criminal organization.
A federal arrest warrant was issued for Molina-Lopez on November 25, 2024, by a U.S. District Judge in the Southern District of Texas. After being deported in December 2024, Molina-Lopez illegally reentered the United States and was later determined by investigators to be in the Dallas area.
The USMS Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force – Corpus Christi Division worked closely with the USMS Eastern District of Virginia, USMS Northern District of Texas, and the Leesburg (Virginia) Police Department to locate Molina-Lopez and bring him to justice.
Following his arrest, Molina-Lopez was transported to a local jail to face the pending charges.
