Harrisburg, PA – Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced
the arrest of Nathaniel Acevedo– a 20-year old Harrisburg man.
September 5, 2019, the Harrisburg Bureau of Police investigated a body
found in Reservoir Park. Detectives learned that the victim was robbed,
kidnapped and then murdered the previous night. And, as a result of
their investigation, they obtained an arrest warrant charging Acevedo
with Murder, Robbery, Kidnapping and lesser included offenses. Attempts
to find Acevedo in Harrisburg were unsuccessful and the U.S. Marshals
Service (USMS) Fugitive Task Force was asked to apprehend him.
Task force members investigated and learned that Acevedo fled to
Nashville, Tennessee. Today at about noon, the fugitive investigation
led to the 3100 block of Brickdale Lane, Nashville - where Acevedo was
arrested without incident. He was turned over to the Davidson County
Jail to await extradition to Pennsylvania.
United States Marshal
Pane stated, “It’s the Marshals Services’ duty to ensure that those
charged with violent crimes have their day in court. It is my sincere
hope that the victim’s family will find some measure of comfort knowing
the suspect will face justice.”

local police agencies; including the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, the
