Attempted Murderer Arrested by U.S. Marshals Task Force

Memphis, TN - On May 6, 2019, the United States Marshal Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (Memphis), and the Memphis Police Department’s Old Allen Task Force (Charlie) arrested Ardarius Walton (01/17/1998) at the 1400 block of Briercrest Lane on charges of Attempted First Degree Murder.

Walton is believed to be responsible for firing three rounds from a handgun into the Taco Bell located at 2183 Frayser Blvd Memphis, TN 38127 on 01/19/2019, attempting to shoot two people.

Walton was then transported to the Shelby County Jail without incident.

The U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force is a multi-agency task force with divisions in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. The Western Tennessee Division of the GCRFTF has offices in Memphis and Jackson, and its membership is primarily composed of Deputy U.S. Marshals, Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputies, Memphis Police Officers, Madison County Sheriff’s Deputies, Fayette County Sheriff’s Deputies, Jackson Police Officers, BATF, and the Tennessee Department of Corrections Special Agents. The primary mission of the Task Force is to arrest violent offenders and sexual predators.
