|This Week's 'Fugitive of the Week' Surrenders|
NH – “Fugitive of the Week,” Michael Monroe, 41, of
Parsonsfield, Maine heard that he was the “Fugitive of the Week,” saw
the poster and immediately did the right thing by calling the U.S.
Marshals. During this conversation, Monroe agreed to turn himself in on
Thursday morning. Monroe surrendered this morning at the U.S. District
Court in Concord, NH, where he was processed on the outstanding warrant
and held pending his initial court appearance later this afternoon. Mr.
Monroe had been sought on an outstanding arrest warrant alleging the he
made false statements during the attempted acquisition of a firearm.
