leads fugitive task force operations out of offices in Miami, Key West,
Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Fort Pierce. The majority of the
task force are full-time officers and agents from different state and
local offices. The purpose of the regional task force is to combine the
efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to locate
and apprehend the most dangerous fugitives and assist in high-profile
investigations in the southeast Florida area.
