U.S. Marshals Task Force’s 'Agonizing 8' Sex Offender List

Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force LogoCleveland, OH – U.S. Marshal Peter J. Elliott has released the July, 2018 updated “Agonizing 8” list of most wanted sex offenders. The list contains the most wanted sex offenders wanted by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF). A flyer is attached with the photo, name, Date of Birth and area of interest for the “Agonizing 8”. With internet access, anyone can click on each photo on the flyer and view full wanted posters for each fugitive, which contain larger pictures and more information on the fugitive. The public can also go to www.usmarshals.gov/district/oh-n/fugitives to view the fugitives and wanted posters.

The following fugitives were added to the Agonizing 8:

Carl Rogers: Rogers is wanted for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. In April 2009, Rogers was convicted of compelling prostitution involving a juvenile. As a condition of that conviction Rogers is required to register as a sex offender. Rogers has been actively evading law enforcement since February 2014 and investigators believe he is splitting his time between Cleveland and the Miami, FL area.

Tina Barfield: Barfield is wanted by the Allen County Sheriff’s Office in Lima, OH for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, and by the Ohio Adult Parole Authority for a Parole Violation. Barfield was convicted of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in 2014. As a result of that conviction, Barfield is required to register as a sex offender. Barfield stopped reporting to her parole officer in, and moved from her residence without notifying the sex offender registry. Investigators believe that Barfield could be hiding out in Columbus or Toledo.

All of the fugitives on the “Agonizing 8” should be considered dangerous individuals and should not be approached by the general public. If anyone has information concerning the location of these fugitives, they are encouraged to contact the NOVFTF toll free at (866) 4WANTED or text keyword WANTED and your tip to TIP411 (847411).
