U.S. Marshals Alert Public of Escaped Prisoner
Reward of up to $2,500 being offered for information directly leading to arrest
Columbia, SC - Members of the Operation Intercept Violent Fugitive Task Force for the District of South Carolina request the public’s assistance in locating Curtis Ray Green.

Green, 20, also known as “Ray Ray” was housed at the Orangeburg County Detention Center and was awaiting trial for an alleged homicide that occurred on March 20, 2015.

On May 19, Green and two others escaped the detention facility and fled. He is now facing an escape charge and assault and battery first degree charge. The other two were apprehended in North Carolina by U.S. Marshals.

Green is a 5-foot-11-inch black male weighing approximately 160-170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has the name “Monica” tattooed on his neck and two tear drops tattooed under his left eye.

He has known ties to South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida and New York and should be considered armed and dangerous.

The U.S. Marshals are offering a reward up to $2,500 for information directly leading to his arrest.

If you have any information regarding the location of Green or information that may help law enforcement with his apprehension, please call the U.S. Marshals at 1-800-336-0102, or email usms.wanted@usdoj.gov.

“Fugitives who escape and run will not get far. Our cooperation with state and local officials will always prevail,” said U.S. Marshal Tom Griffin of the District of South Carolina. “The public can assist in bringing Green to justice by calling the U.S. Marshals, and all tips can remain confidential.”
