U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests Wayne County Homicide Suspect
Scranton, PA - Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced that the arrest of Kevin Jordan, 20, in Pottstown, PA.

On December 19, 2017, law enforcement in Wayne County obtained an arrest warrant charging Jordan with Criminal Homicide, burglary, robbery and other various offenses. On December 8th, 2017 multiple persons are alleged to have committed a home invasion. During the commission of that crime, multiple occupants of the residence were struck and beaten. One victim was struck and kicked in the head which resulted in his death 5 days later. An autopsy was performed that would show the cause of death to be brain herniation and other injuries which was ruled a homicide.

The U.S. Marshals Task Force out of Scranton and the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office developed information that Jordan may be in the Pottstown area and sent an investigative lead to their counterparts out of Allentown. Yesterday, U.S. Marshals located and arrested Jordan without incident at a residence in Pottstown. He was turned over to local authorities pending court appearances for his involvement.

United States Marshal Pane stated, United States Marshal Pane stated, “We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to rid our community of those charged with such heinous crimes. It is my sincere hope that the victim’s family finds some measure of comfort knowing the suspect will face justice.”

During this fugitive investigation, the USMS worked jointly with officers from the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office, Scranton Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and its task force partners.
