U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests Robbery Suspect
Scranton, PA - United States Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Naquan Shider, 27, in Kingston, PA.

On March 5, 2018, the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department obtained an arrest warrant charging Shider with robbery and various other offenses for an incident that occurred in May 2016 in Mount Pocono Borough. It is alleged that Shider and others, entered a residence, tied up the occupants and robbed the victims of personal effects. Earlier today, U.S. Marshals located Shider in the 100 block of John Street in Kingston and arrested him without incident. Shider was turned over to local authorities pending court proceedings.

U.S. Marshal Pane said, “The U.S. Marshals Service recognizes the importance of close cooperation with state and local police officers, especially when investigating offenders commit personal crimes. It is my sincere hope that the victims of this crime find some measure of comfort knowing the alleged offender will face justice.”

The USMS Fugitive Task Force worked jointly in these investigations with members from the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, Kingston Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, Wilkes-Barre Police Department and the Scranton Police Department.
