Fugitive Has Ties All Over East Coast
Norfolk, VA – U.S. Marshals are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Virginia man who has been on the run from murder charges for over two years. Darryl Reginald Faine, 54, is wanted for a 2015 murder that occurred in Portsmouth, Virginia.

On Dec. 2, 2015, Portsmouth police responded to an apartment in the 3600 block of Gateway Drive, in the city of Portsmouth. Monique Landis, 26, was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Faine was charged with second degree murder and related charges in connection to the incident, and the U.S. Marshals were asked for assistance in tracking Faine down.

Investigation revealed that Faine may have fled to New Jersey after the murder. Faine previously resided in New Jersey and still has strong ties to that area. There have also been indications that Faine spent time in Florida since going on the run, specifically the Jacksonville area. Faine also has ties to Northern Virginia and Maryland.

A reward of up to $1,500 is being offered for information leading to Faine’s arrest. Please call the U.S. Marshals at 1-877-Wanted-2 (1-877-926-8332) or email with any information regarding Faine.
