U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Arrests Aggravated Assault Suspect
York, PA - Today, U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Mustafa Jamison, 35, in York, PA which occurred on March 14, 2018.

The Springettsbury Township Police Department obtained an arrest warrant charging Jamison with aggravated assault, simple assault, strangulation and harassment for an incident occurring on March 12, 2018. It is alleged that Jamison punched, kicked and choked his victim after a verbal altercation. The victim received medical attention at a local hospital.

Earlier yesterday, US Marshals and members of fugitive task force located and arrested Jamison without incident in the 100 block of South Richland Ave in York. Jamison was turned over to local authorities pending judicial proceedings.

United States Marshal Martin J. Pane stated, “The U.S. Marshals Service and our task force partners recognize the importance of cooperation between federal, state and local police agencies – especially when searching for fugitives wanted for violent crimes. It is my sincere hope that the arrest of this dangerous fugitive brings some sense of relief to the victim.”

The USMS worked jointly in these investigations with personnel from the York City Police Department, York County Sheriff’s Office, Spring Garden Township Police Department, Northern York County Regional Police Department and the York County DA’s Office.
