U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrests York County Sexual Assault Suspect
York, PA - Today, United States Marshal Martin J. Pane announced the arrest of Sean Heilman, 24, in York, PA.

On March 6, 2018, the York City Police Department obtained an arrest warrant charging Heilman with aggravated indecent assault of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with child, indecent assault person less than 13 years of age and corruption of minors. It is alleged that Heilman commited these crimes on his victim in the summer of 2008 in the city of York.

Today, Heilman was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force in the 2700 block of Black Bridge Road, York, PA without incident. Heilman was turned over to local authorities and awaits further court proceedings.

U.S. Marshal Pane said, “The U.S. Marshals Service recognizes the importance of close cooperation with state and local police officers, especially when investigating offenders who commit crimes against minors. It is my sincere hope that the victim finds some measure of comfort knowing the alleged offender will face justice.”

The USMS Fugitive Task Force is comprised of 20 state and local police agencies, including the York City Police Department, York County Sheriff’s Office and the Pennsylvania State Police – all of whom participated in this investigation.
