U.S. Marshals Arrest Home Invasion Suspect
Dover, DE - United States Marshal Michael McGowan announced today the arrest of Samuel Rhodes, 49, of Pennsylvania. Rhodes was wanted by Marcus Hook Township in Pennsylvania for several charges stemming from an armed home invasion.

Rhodes was charged with armed robbery, home invasion, aggravated assault, and other various charges. Rhodes now joins two other co-conspirators that have been arrested for their part in this violent act.

The United States Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force in Philadelphia developed information that Rhodes may be staying in an area motel in Dover, Delaware. On January 30, 2017 a request was sent to the First State Fugitive Task Force’s Dover Office seeking assistance in locating and apprehending Rhodes.

On January 30, 2018, The First State Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Rhodes in the 1700 block of North Dupont Hwy., Dover, DE. Rhodes was taken to Dover Police Department for processing on his out of state warrants and is pending extradition back to Pennsylvania.

The USMS First State Fugitive Task Force is comprised of Federal, State, and Local law enforcement agencies in an effort to locate and apprehend fugitives wanted by or residing in the State of Delaware.
