USMS, Irving PD arrest sex offender
Dallas – The U.S. Marshals Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force, working with members of the Irving Police Department, apprehended a fugitive sex offender October 6 in Irving.

Kenneth Roblez ,38, was arrested during a joint fugitive investigation conducted with the Grapevine Police Department, Irving Police Department, Dallas Police Department, Texas Attorney General’s Office and the USMS task force.

Roblez was wanted for failure to register as a sex offender, parole violation for indecency with a child, and is a suspect in several other sexual related offenses involving children in multiple cities in the DFW area. Roblez was taken into custody following his attempt to evade apprehension by leading investigators on a quick vehicle pursuit. After arrest, he was taken to the Irving City jail.

U.S. Marshals task forces combine the efforts of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to locate and arrest the most dangerous fugitives. In 2016, the U.S. Marshals Service cleared more than 107,000 arrest warrants.
