Boulder Fugitive Featured on ‘The Hunt With John Walsh’ Arrested in Illinois
Denver, Colo. - The U.S. Marshals today arrested a fugitive featured on Sunday’s episode of “The Hunt With John Walsh.”

Dean Albert “Dino” Curcio was wanted by the Boulder Police Department on charges of sexual assault of a child by a person in a position of trust. A warrant was issued April 20, 2012, out of Boulder District Court with alleged offenses dating back to 2005.

Boulder Police Department investigators requested the Marshals assistance in apprehending “Dino,” who had left the area. The Marshals in the District of Colorado adopted the fugitive investigation in January 2014.

After Sunday night’s episode aired, more than a dozen tips were received by “The Hunt” Tip Line. Two of the tips received by the Marshals were developed into information that placed Curcio in Deer Park, a suburb about 40 miles northwest of Chicago. The Marshals in Denver sent an urgent collateral lead to the Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force, and task force members responded to the address, located Curcio and took him into custody without incident.

Curcio is being held in the Lake County jail pending extradition to Boulder.
