U.S. Marshals Capture Altus Fugitive Wanted for Shooting at Officer's Home
Altus, OK - U.S. Marshals arrested a Jackson County fugitive at a home in Altus late Thursday night.

Leslie Kebay Thomas was wanted in connection with a drive-by shooting of a home belonging to an Altus Police Officer on July 10. Thomas, a confirmed member of the 107 Hoover Criminal Street Gang, allegedly shot numerous rounds into to the residence of the officer .

On July 13, U.S. Marshals along with the members from the ATF, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, and the Altus Police Department began a massive search of known locations for Thomas in the Altus area. At approximately 11 p.m., U.S. Marshals made contact with individuals in a residence located in the 300 block of N. Jackson Street in Altus. Information was provided that Thomas was inside the residence. Thomas was subsequently arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail.

The U.S. Marshals Oklahoma City Metro Fugitive Task Force was established in 1991 and is composed of members from the following agencies: The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Cleveland County S.O., Pottawatomie County S.O., Canadian County S.O., Comanche County S.O., Midwest City Police Department, and the Oklahoma City Police Department.
