Fugitive Wanted for Inflicting Corporal Injury to a Family Member
Las Cruces, NM - The United States Marshals Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating New Mexico’s Most Wanted Fugitive Carlos Sanchez (08/10/1982). Sanchez is wanted by the New Mexico Department of Corrections on a probation violation for failing to appear to a court on a charge of Inflicting corporal injury to a family member. Sanchez is also in violation of a court protective order.

Sanchez's criminal history includes multiple residential burglaries, larceny, family violence, unlawful taking of motor vehicle, and narcotics possession. Carlos Sanchez has known ties to Oxnard, CA and often travels from the El Paso/Las Cruces area to California. Sanchez is suspected to have an affiliation with the California Sureno in

Please warn the public to NOT approach this violent fugitive, but to obtain a good description of the fugitive, to include his location and to call the United States Marshals Service, local police or the Sheriff’s department with any information.

This arrest was made through a cooperative effort of several partner agencies of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, including; Belknap, Hillsborough & Merrimack County Sheriff’s Offices, the Concord Police Department along with deputy U.S. Marshals.
