U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force Captures Homicide Suspect in the North Hills
WPAFTF LogoPittsburgh, PA - Allegheny County homicide suspect Ian Guliani, also known as Ian Kaminski, was apprehended at approximately 11:00 am this morning by members of the United States Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force (WPAFTF). Guliana, age 34, was charged by the Allegheny County Police Department on December 22, 2016 with Criminal Homicide, Robbery, Burglary and Conspiracy. These charges stem from a June 26, 2016 incident in which Guliana and a second unknown individual are alleged to have shot and killed 27 year old Brandon Turowski during a home invasion robbery in Oakmont, PA.

Guliana was last known to reside on the Northside section of Pittsburgh. The WPAFTF was actively investigating Guliana’s whereabouts and developed information he was staying at a hotel in the 4500 block of Mcknight Road, Pittsburgh, PA where he was arrested without incident. Following his arrest, Guliana was turned over to the custody of Allegheny County Homicide Detectives.

The Fugitive Task Force is comprised of officers from the Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole, Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, Allegheny County Sheriffs, and Westmoreland County. These agencies, along with the United States Attorney’s Office, are participating members of the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force (WPAFTF).
