New Mexico’s Most Wanted Adds New Violent Offender
Albuquerque, NM - The United States Marshals Service in New Mexico added Damon Hatanaka to the United States Marshals Service District of New Mexico’s “New Mexico’s Most Wanted Program.” Hatanaka is wanted by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and the United States Marshals Service on a federal probation violation.

Hatanaka currently has two warrants, one for violation of federal probation for walking away from Dismas Charities Halfway House, and an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon charge, which is a no bond hold. Hatanaka is accused of using a vehicle to attempt to run over his wife.

Hatanaka has prior charges for eluding a police officer, Receiving and Transferring of a Stolen Firearm, possession of cocaine, and shooting at a dwelling. Hatanaka has been a fugitive from justice since August of 2016. Hatanaka is believed to be armed and dangerous and in the area of Albuquerque, NM.
