U.S. Marshals Arrest a New Mexico’s Most Wanted Violent Offender with the Public’s Help
Las Cruces, NM - The U.S. Marshals Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT) Task Force had requested the public’s help in locating violent fugitive Jesus Perez, 32 years of age, who was wanted on a NM Probation Violation warrant and a Parole Violation warrant with a lengthy criminal history to include; Resisting/ Evading an Officer, Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon Against a Family Member, Aggravated Burglary and Drug Trafficking Charges.

Perez is a member of the “Cruces Boys” and “East-Side Locos” and was located at the corner of Las Cruces and Virginia street by the SWIFT task force, after receiving numerous tips from the public. Everyone gave great descriptions and exact locations. Thanks to this information, Perez was arrested yesterday without incident and was booked into the Dona Ana County Detention Center. It took only one day to apprehend this violent criminal.

We would like to thank the public for their involvement and also appreciate the assistance from the members of the SWIFT team, which consisted of members form the Las Cruces Police Department and the TNT Gang Task Force and the LCPD K-9 unit.
