 New Mexico’s Most Wanted Adds New Violent Offender
Impersonating a Law enforcement Officer

Albuquerque, NM - The United States Marshals Service along with Task Force Officers from the United States Marshals Service Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT) Task Force added Shane Garcia to the New Mexico’s Most Wanted. Garcia is wanted for aggravated residential burglary with a deadly weapon. Garcia and another unknown offender forced entry into a residence armed with semi-automatic handguns. Once inside the home, Garcia announced his presence as the Albuquerque Police issuing a search warrant. This burglary was captured on video surveillance located within the home. Garcia has a violent criminal history involving weapons and charges including residential burglary, armed robbery and assault.

Deputies and Task Force Officers assigned to the United States Marshals Service South West Investigative Fugitive Team (SWIFT) Task Force are actively trying to locate Garcia. It is believed that Garcia is in the Albuquerque Metro area. It is asked that anyone with information contact either the United States Marshals Service or the Albuquerque Police Department at 505-242-2677.

Garcia is considered armed and extremely dangerous and should be reported to authorities immediately.
