U.S. Marshals Top Ten Most Wanted Captured in Puerto Rico
San Juan, PR -  On April 28 members of the Puerto Rico Violent Offenders Task Force (PRVOTF) and Puerto Rico Police San Juan Strike Force arrested Josue Vazquez Carrasquillo. 

Vazquez Carrasquillo was charged along with more than a hundred people by the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) with several counts, including firearms, drugs, murder and RICO act. Vazquez Carrasquillo was the leader of the "Rompe Onu" organization that operated in different towns of Puerto Rico. He was also featured as the number one on the ten most wanted list for the district of Puerto Rico.

After several months of investigation, members of the PRVOTF received confidential information of the whereabouts of Vazquez Carrasquillo. Along with members of the PR Police Strike Force, the PRVOTF surrounded a luxury apartment located in an exclusive residential area of the town of Rio Grande, PR. 

After observing the amount of law enforcement personnel in the area Vazquez Carrasquillo gave up without any incident. At the time of the arrest he was with a female companion. No drugs or weapons were recovered at the location.

The Rompe Onu organization is responsible for more than twenty murders including drive-by shootings, drug sales and weapons trafficking .

Oralndo Rivera, US Marshal for the district of Puerto Rico stated, "This arrest shows the quality and expertise of our Deputies, TFO's, State and local law enforcement partners, by bringing this dangerous fugitive to justice without any incident. The streets of Puerto Rico are safer today"
